Fruits not Fizzy
Whether you’re a fan of the golden arches or not, this ad for McDonalds by Chris & Carol @ Leo is very good. Certainly makes me smile – turn it up!
impressive bike trickery
So I ride bikes – I don’t ride them like this though. Which is a real shame as it would make me quite cool and likely highly paid by a caffeine based drink manufacturer to fuck around all day. Bit like this chap:
Pretty impressive (Rad, sick etc if your down with the kids)
Digital Training @ Leo Burnett
How do you raise awareness of a digital training program? With a robot of course…
Enjoy.
Penny Farthing Racing
If its got pedals you can race it! The inevitable accident is at the end of the YouTube clip but I’m most impressed by this racer in lycra – could have come straight from the Tour
Old Spice – not so old and actually quite good
I’m old enough to remember the original old spice ads – sea and surfing affairs for the weirdly sweet scented talcs and aftershaves. Pretty average stuff. Well, over in the US they’ve reinvented the brand some what and I have to say, even though the product doesn’t sit high on my ‘must have lists’ its certainly back in the ‘must try’ and the ads are even better
Swim Technique
So I’ve been busy at my new place – helping reinvent and integrate the digital operations and production at Leo Burnett: London. Great place and some good work to come but in my focus to settle in my blogs been a bit neglected of late.
To get things started I thought I’d post these short swim tips from Dave Scott (multiple Ironman world champion). Nowt to do with digital but as good a start back as I could think of seeing as I’ve some races to try to get fit for. Normal digital musings to follow…
N Building QR code fun
Interesting example of QR codes being used on a grand scale. Personally I quite like the aesthetic, but the ability to see the occupants twitter posts and the opportunity for advertising is also interesting. Wont reinvent the world but I could see this sort of thing being useful as part of a PR stunt.
